Firmdale Hotels, London's premier luxury hotelier, has contracted with Stonehill & Taylor to create eight properties in Manhattan. The first is being designed as a LEED Hotel and will be located on Crosby Street in the heart of Soho. A first for Firmdale, the Soho property will be built from the ground up designed as the "quintessential" Soho loft containing the signature Firmdale features; six-fixture baths, graciously proportioned guestrooms, a 99-seat screening room, guest library, drawing rooms and lounge, and a lobby bar and restaurant. The SoHo hotel will be a new, 85,000 square foot, 11-story building and will have 85 guest suites.
