Highest Rated Project for Social Sustainability in N.A.
Stonehill & Taylor recently completed the $50 million dollar renovation of the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis. The scope of work included the entire hotel: 532 guestrooms and suites, the public spaces, meeting areas, event spaces, and restaurants. The design draws inspiration from the historic industries of the area, including lumber, flour, and wool milling.
The project was committed to sustainable design. Materials and FF&E were sourced locally, with an emphasis on American manufacturing. Local sourcing and the utilization of just-in-time delivery offered financial cost savings, a tighter project schedule, and a reduced impact on the environment. Stonehill & Taylor provided the architecture and interior design for this project.
